BACK: With No. 4 Needles cast on 81 sts. Work as given for No. 5329 until piece measures 10 in. from lower edge. Bind off 6 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; decrease 1 st at each end every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 8½ in. from underarm. Bind off 6 sts at beginning of each of next 8 rows for shoulders. Change to No. 4 Needles in­creasing to 31 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 7 rows. Bind off.

FRONT: With No. 4 Needles cast on 81 sts. Work as given for No. 5329 until piece measures 10 in. from lower edge. Bind off 6 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; decrease 1 st at each end every other row 4 times. Work even until piece measures 6½ in. from underarm. Work over 30 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 22 sts for front of neck. On remaining 30 sts, work 2 rows even; decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 8½ in. from under­arm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 6 sts every other row 4 times. Work other side to correspond.

FRONT NECKBAND: With No. 4 Needles on right side of gar­ment, pick up 69 sts from end to end of neckband. Work in rib­bing of K 1, P 1, for 7 rows. Bind off.
Sew shoulder seams.

ARMHOLE BANDS: With No. 4 Needles on right side of gar­ment, pick up 129 sts from end to end of armhole. Work in rib­bing of K 1, P 1, for 7 rows. Bind off.

Sew underarm seams.
