Jack Frost Sport Yarn—3 2-oz. Balls
BACK: Work as given for No. 5328 until piece measures 10½ in. from lower edge. Bind off 9 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm, then 2 sts at beginning of each of next 12 rows. Work even until piece measures 8½ in. from underarm. Bind off 7 sts at beginning of each of next 6 rows for shoulders. Change to No. 2 Needles increasing to 37 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 9 rows. Bind off.
FRONT: Work as given for back until piece measures 6 in. from underarm. Work over 26 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 23 sts for front of neck. On remaining 26 sts, work 2 rows even, then decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 5 times. Work even until piece measures 8½ in. from underarm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 7 sts every other row 3 times. Work other side to correspond.
FRONT NECKBAND: With No. 2 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 75 sts from end to end of neckband. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 9 rows. Bind off.
Sew shoulder seams.
ARMHOLE BANDS: With No. 2 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 158 sts from end to end of armhole. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 7 rows. Bind off.
Sew underarm seams.
