Milward's Phantom Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 1 (2½ mm. size) and 1 pair No. 2 (2¾ mm. size).
Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No. 4.
4 buttons.

Gauge: (Pattern) 12 sts make 1¼ inches; 14 rows make 1 inch.

BACK … Starting at bottom, with No. 2 needles cast on 99 sts. 1st row: Right side. * (K 1, p 1) 3 times, k 3, p 1, k 1, p 1. Repeat from * to within last 3 sts, k 1, p 1, k 1. 2nd row: * P 6, k 3, p 3. Repeat from * across, ending with p 6. Repeat these 2 rows alternately for 7 inches, ending with 2nd row. Then dec. 1 st at end of each row until 87 sts remain. Slip sts onto spare needle.

LEFT FRONT … Cast on 51 sts and work 7 inches as for Back, ending with 2nd row. Dec. 1 st at underarm edge every other row until 45 sts remain. Slip sts onto spare needle.

RIGHT FRONT … Work to correspond with Left Front.

SLEEVES … Starting at bottom, with No. 2 needles cast on 63 sts and work 6 inches as for Back, ending with 2nd row. Dec. 1 st at end of each row until 51 sts remain. Slip sts onto spare needle.

COLLAR … Starting at outer edge, cast on 75 sts and work 1¾ inches as for Back. Bind off.

YOKE … With wrong side toward you, slip sts of Left Front, one sleeve, Back, 2nd sleeve and Right Front onto 1 needle (279 sts).
