CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 balls (1 oz. balls).
Clark's O.N.T. Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No. 5.

GAUGE: 5½ sts make 1 inch; 7 rnds make 1 inch.

Follow directions for Mittens until shaping for thumb gore is completed and there are on needles

Discontinue p-ribs and work around in stockinette st until glove, when tried on, reaches to the base of forefinger, or for

Put glove on, and with safety pins mark off for forefinger

K around to sts of forefinger, k the sts of forefinger, then take all other sts off on a thread, to be worked later.
FOREFINGER … Follow directions for forefinger of Plain Gloves. Slip remaining sts off thread onto 3 needles. Attach yarn, pick up 2 sts on the 2 sts cast on for forefinger and work around until piece measures 1 inch less than desired length, or for

Dec 4 sts evenly around on next rnd and every other rnd thereafter 3 more times. Next rnd: K 2 tog. around. Finish same as forefinger.
THUMB … Follow directions for thumb of Mitten.
