MATERIALS REQUIRED—American Thread Company "Dawn" Shetland Floss.
6 Balls White or Colors.
1 Pair No. 1 Needles
Cast on 84 sts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Rows, * K 7, P 7, repeat from * across row.
4th, 5th Rows—* K 2, P 3, K 2, P 2, K 3, P 2, repeat from * across row.
6th, 7th and 8th Rows—* K 7, P 7, repeat from * across row.
9th, 10th, and 11th Rows—* P 7, K 7, repeat from * across row.
12th and 13th Rows—* P 2, K 3, P 2, K 2, P 3, K 2, repeat from * across row.
14th, 15th, 16th Rows—* P 7, K 7, repeat from * across row and repeat these 16 rows until scarf measures 40 inches or is length desired.
FRINGE. 1 s c in first st, draw up a loop on hook to 4 inch length, keep loop on hook 1 s c in next st, draw up a loop same length, continue across row, always keeping one or two loops on hook to gauge length of next loop. Cut loops the desired length.
