Use J. & P. Coats "Knit-Cro-Sheen" with Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins No. 1 (2 mm. size); or J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Pearl Cotton, Size 5, with Milwards "Phantom" Aluminum Knitting Pins No. 1 (2 mm. size).

Cast on 10 sts. 1st row: Sl 1, k 2 tog, O, k 6, O, k 1. 2nd and all even rows: Sl 1, p across to last st, k 1. 3rd row: Sl 1, k 2 tog, O, k 6, (O, k 1) twice. 5th row: Sl 1, k 2 tog, O, slip next 3 sts onto a spare needle and place in front of work, k next 3 sts, k the 3 sts from spare needle, O, sl 1, k 3 tog, p.s.s.o. 7th row: Sl 1, k 2 tog, O, k 6, O, k 2 tog. 8th row: Repeat 2nd row. Repeat 3rd to 8th rows incl for length desired.
