Pattern
Materials: Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet, size 20; or Clark's O.N.T. Knit-Crochet. Pair of steel knitting needles (2 mm.). Lace is worked lengthwise. Pattern requires a multiple of 7 sts. Cast on required number of sts, allowing 10 sts to an inch of lace.
1st row: K 1, thread over needle twice, * k 1, k 2 together twice, k 1, thread over needle twice, k 1, thread over needle twice. Repeat from * across. Purl all even rows. 3rd row: Same as 1st. 5th row: K 1, thread over needle, * k 1, k 2 together twice, k 1, thread over needle, k 1, thread over needle. Repeat from * across. 7th row: Same as 5th. 9th row: K across. Then, bind off. For wider lace, repeat 5th and 6th rows as desired.
