Knitting Needles: 1 pair "Boye" Size 10 ½, 1 cable needle and 1 "Hiawatha" blunt end tapestry needle

Gauge: Each panel measures 9 ½ inches in width

PATTERN STITCH: Cast on 42 sts. Row 1-K 5, P 5, K 2 tog, K 3, yo (wrapping yarn around needle), P 2, K 8, P 2, yo, K 3, sl 1, K 1, psso, P 5, K 5. Row 2-K 10, P 5, K 2, P 8, K 2, P 5, K 10. Row 3-K 5, P 4, K 2 tog, K 3, yo, K 1, P 2, K 8, P 2, K 1, yo, K 3, sl 1, K 1, psso, P 4, K 5. Row 4-K 9, P 6, K 2, P 8, K 2, P 6, K 9. Row 5-K 5, P 3, K 2 tog, K 3, yo, K 2, P 2, K 8, P 2, K 2, yo, K 3, sl 1, K 1, psso, P 3, K 5. Row 6-K 8, P 7, K 2, P 8, K 2, P 7, K 8. AFGHAN: One Panel - Cast on 42 sts. Work in pat st until there are 38 cable crossings, then repeat Rows 1 through 8, bind off. Make 3 panels with Dark Color and 2 with Light Color.

TO JOIN: Sew panels tog on wrong side of work, alternating colors.

FRINGE: Wind Light Color yarn over a 6 inch cardboard. Cut yarn at one end. Fold and knot 12 strands in each eyelet and at center cable of each Dark Color strip. With Dark Color knot Fringe in each Light Color strip in same manner.
