MATERIAL:
2 (3-3) skeins Orion Acrylic 2 ply (2 oz. skein)
or
3 (3-4) balls Sport Yarn (2 oz. ball)
1 pair knitting needles each No. 2 and No. 4
1 crochet hook No. 4 or E
1 stitch holder
2 snaps

GAUGE: 6 sts. = 1 inch

YOKE PATTERN:
1st row: K1 (2-1) * K3, y.o., K3 tog., y.o. repeat from * across row and K1 (2-1).
2nd and 4th row: P across row.
3rd row: K1 (2-1) * y.o., K3 tog., y.o., K3 repeat from * across row end K1 (2-1).
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.

BACK:
Cast on 64 (68-72) sts. with No. 2 needles and work in ribbing K1, P1 for 2 inch. (all sizes). Incr. 4 sts. (all sizes) at even intervals across last row of ribbing. Change to No. 4 needles and stock. st. With 68 (72-76) sts. work even until the entire piece measures 8½ (9-9½) inch. or any des. length to underarm. Bind off for armhole at the beg. of the next 2 rows 4 (5-5) sts., at the beg. of the next 2 rows 2 sts. (all sizes) (56 (58-62) sts. left). Start yoke pattern and work even for 5½ (5¾-6) inch. from the first binding off. Bind off for shoulders at the beg. of the next 6 (4-4) rows 6 (10-10) sts., rem. 20 (18-22) sts. bind off for neck.

FRONT:
Work Front as Back until armhole is bound off (56 (58-62) sts. left). Start yoke pattern and work even for 3¾ (4-4¼) inch. from the first binding off. Work across 20 (21-22) sts. and slip them to a holder to be worked later. Bind off for neck next 16 (16-18) sts. and work on rem. 20 (21-22) sts. only. Decr. 1 st. at neck edge every other row until 18 (20-20) sts. are left over. Work as high as back and bind off for shoulder at armhole edge 6 (10-10) sts. 3 (2-2) times. Slip sts. from holder back to needle, attach yarn and finish this side of neck to correspond.

SLEEVE:
Cast on 42 (46-50) sts. with No. 2 needles and work in ribbing K1, P1 for 94 inch. (all sizes). Incr. 8 (6-6) sts. at even intervals across last row of ribbing. Change to No. 4 needles and pattern. With 50 (52-56) sts. work even until the entire sleeve measures 2½ (3-3½) inch. or any des. length to underarm. Bind off at the beg. of the next 2 rows 3 (4-4) sts. Decr. 1 st. at the beg. of each row until cap measures 2¼ (2½-2¾) inch. Decr. 1 st. at the beg. and end of every 4th row twice (all sizes). Bind off 2 sts. at the beg. of the next 4 rows. Bind off rem. sts. Work the other sleeve to correspond.

FINISHING:
Sew up side, right shoulder and ½ inch of left shoul­der seam. Sew in sleeves. Neckband: Right side facing you pick up with No. 2 needles 56 (60-64) sts. around the neck and work in ribbing K1, P1 for 5 rows. Bind off loosely K as K and P as P. With No. 4 crochet hook work 3 rows s.c. around shoulder opening. Sew snaps to open­ing and block to size.
